ben ewli barkliyim sorumluluklarim war sewiyeyi koruyalim

I am married, I have responsibilities. Let us not lower the tone (of the conversation).

(I don´t know how to say "seviyeyi korumak" so I have translated as "seviyeyi düşürmemek" which is similar)

seviyeyi koruyalım, means in here: there should be a line between us. a line that protects the limit of conversation.

so the translation is:

I´m married and I´ve responsibilites so there should be a line between us.

thanks

Thanks-I´d never heard that.

PS-just looked it up and found it in the dictionary. I was looking up just ´barkli´.   {#emotions_dlg.doh}

I think we might say in English here ´so we must draw the line´

(spelling queen please note capitals!)
