Muhallebicinin artan müsterilerinden ötürü, kasada oturan adamın aralıksız onların masasına takılıp kalan bakısları, "Salonumuz vardır!" diye çığırtkanlık eden sarışın kücük kominin güleç yüzü,
Nesibe'nin anlaşılmaz sevincini durulttu birden. Çevresine tam verdi kendini.

Because of the increasing clients of the muhallebici, the continuous glances of the man sitting at the cash mashine coming at their table and the smiling face of the blond buser/busboy shouting "We have a dining room" ceased Nasibe`s unexplainable happiness .She totally let herself to the atmosphere around.

I do not understand why durultmak, what dictionairy says means to become clear, transparant, can become to cease in this sentence?

Quoting mamamia:

I do not understand why durultmak, what dictionairy says means to become clear, transparant, can become to cease in this sentence?

Yes.you are right,my mistake I am sorry.I misred it as durdurmak. So that makes even more sense with the last sentence because it goes like this ..this made Nasibe`s unexplainable happiness even more clearer .She totally let herself to the atmosphere around.
