If i was to write in Turkish ´I am goin to the shops´. In what order would the words be in? example would it be :the shops i am goin to or goin to the shops i am?

Im not sure where the subject,adjective actually goes or in what order? Does it really matter about the order of words?

The word order inTurkish SOV. In English, it is SVO as you know. So the subject part comes first in both languages but in Turkish you usually drop the subject when personal pronouns involved (I, you, s/he, it, we, you, they) so it´s like (S)OV in Turkish.

For you example it would be:

(I) (the) shops-to going-am. = (Ben) mağazalar-a gidiyor-um

(I) (the) shops-to going-am. = (Ben) mağazalar-a gidiyor-um

(I) (the) shops-to going-am. = (Ben) mağazalar-a gidiyor-um

(I) (the) shops-to going-am. = (Ben) mağazalar-a gidiyor-um

(I) (the) shops-to going-am. = (Ben) mağazalar-a gidiyor-um

So if you ignore S, it is completely reverse of English one.
