Can someone please confirm the following for me

The adjective comes before the noun - sari araba.

But when you put a negative in the sentence it changes - Araba sari degil.

But if i say Araba saridir- is that also correct?

If so the negative would be  Araba saridir degil.

sarı araba - a yellow car

Araba sarı. / Araba sarıdır. (the latter is more formal, means the same) - The car is yellow.

sarı araba değil - not the yellow car

Araba sarı değil. / Araba sarı değildir.  (the latter is more formal, means the same) - The car is not yellow.

Since there is nothing like "is" or "are" in Turkish language, it can cause a little confusion. Hope it is more clear after the sentences I wrote. Is it?

PS: I´m a learner
