I want to learn and perform Alexis Zorba's dance! (Do you call it Syrtaki?) How can I learn Zorba's dance and where can I find information about it? Do you have any idea? Could you give me some related links please?

Thank you in advance for your probable help.

Cyrano,

Syrtaki is a dance that comes from 'chassapikos'. Actually it's Chassapikos's fast version. Here is the page from Wikipedia where you can read about it. And here is the only video I could find, that shows how chassapikos is danced The costumes of the dancers have nothing to do with sirtaki, but the chorography is good.
I have also found a Turkish page about syrtaki which could prove useful to you.

Now, get a glass of retsina and get started! Opa!
