If a cow is being slaughtered, than so be it. There´s a difference between murder and slaughter. If you tell your children their happy meals is grown on trees, that just isn´t healthy. The picture isn´t the right way to slaughter a cow, so that is bad for the animal, if not necessarily the children. But, we shouldn´t pretend like children should never see a normally slaughtered animal. Some kids these days think meat comes from the factory, and that´s crazy in my opinion!

I was raised on a farm and I at least know where my food comes from   they are already wrapped in plastic in a nice styrofoam plate and you pick them off the trees in the orchard

I actually had a friend, a city girl, who though that a ham was an actual animal, four legs a head and a tail... she was horrified to find out that a ham was actually the rump of a pig when she came to visite me on the farm and I showed her where on the pig the ham came from I burst her naive little bubble
