Years ago I read a book entitled Rip Van Winkle. Since it has been like 25 years, I can´t remember the whole story but there is something I learned from the book: Don´t mess with the Dutch women or they may turn this world into hell for you.

All joking aside, I hope this will arouse some interest to give that book a go.

Historically Dutch women have been... let´s call it "heroic and passionate" I remember reading a text of centuries ago during history classes, in which a foreign soldier he said he was more afraid of the aggressive Dutch women with pitchforks than of the soldiers. Is this also a cultural thing between Turkey and Holland? I have seen several Turkish women attack men with slippers

Heroism, at its best, was displayed by Dutch men when they were supposed to protect the civilian Bosnians against ruthless Serbs.

I hope they are proud of themselves.  {#emotions_dlg.rant}
