my attempt
if you are not in this city it is (like) a child with it´s arm in plaster. if the lines are not pointing at you, soon the poems will kill themselves. And, don´t tell anybody. I am writing to you, they believe it´s poetry...

just for your info tunci, the verb - to point - needs a preposition which can be at, out or in according to the sentence.

thank you very much gokuyum - but you crossed out my ´to´ and this is not right in english. You don´t ´write´ someone, you must ´write to´ someone (or possibly ´about´ someone but this is a different meaning altogether)

"Sana yazıyorum" means "I write to you".
"Seni yazıyorum" means something like "I write you." But if you say this is wrong; I guess it can be translated as "I write about you" Have a nice day.

Ben seni yazarım. If you look at the turkish text its like that. So its not "I write to you" . It has to be " I write about you" = Ben seni yazarım(Senin hakkında yazarım)
