When do we use yürek and when do we use kalp please

 Deli, Yürek and Kalp both means "Heart" as you know. You can use both cus they are same. Only difference is  "Yurek" is pure turkish word whereas "Kalp" is arabic origin word.

In some cases we use "Kalp" instead of "Yürek" . In medical we use "Kalp" as an organ. When we talk about Organ heart we have to use "Kalp" not "yürek"

For example : He had a heart attact = O kalp krizi geçirdi. ( in this case we can not use Yürek) so Yürek is used more in spiritual cases..

"Kalp krizi" was "yürek enfarktı" (heart infarct) at least till September 1961  

We also have this word "gönül" for "heart" in English.
