Can someone please help me translate this speech for me? (A little bit urgent).
Mum and Dad, first of all I want to thank you for coming all the way here. And thank you for, after given me life, never failed to take me seriously. This is the most important gift someone can achieve out of childhood. It is this source, which makes me to stay here today as the one I am, and I am grateful for that
I may not do what you suggest always, but I do listen. You guys really have gotten wise since I was 15 though.
And now I have another family as well. I can imagine it was a bit of a shock when "name" came home and told you about the foreign girl, but you have both dealt with that better than I could ever have imagined. You have welcomed me into your family with open arms, and I have felt included in your family from day one. You have both always been there for "name" and I, and for that I thank you. You are also giving us the day of our dreams tomorrow, and I am forever grateful. And most important of all, you are the reason behind the fantastic man I am married to - so well done, you have done a great job!
I also want to thank "name" and "name" - you have both been like a brother and sister to me, thank you very much.
I am also very lucky to have the best of the best of friends, and they are all here today - together with my beloved sister and her boyfriend. I have always known how fantastic each of you are, and by being here today, you are just confirming that, again. Even though the journey was long, you are here with us, on our most special day, celebrating with us. Thank you so much for being the best friends and family that anyone can wish for.
So finally, I saved the best to the end - that`s the way it should be, isn`t it?
"name" came into my life and completely changed it - for the better, in case you were wondering.
"name", when I think back at the first day when we met 6 years ago - who could have imagined that we would be here today, celebrating our marriage. You were not given an easy task when you wanted to get to know me, but you never gave up, and you have me fall deeply in love with you.
We are living proof that love happens when you least expect it.
Our roads have were made while walking them. Early in the relationship we decided that we were going to make this. As it showed up, we were both the same stubborn. We believed in the motto "Biggest of all is love", and differences were made up by similarities. I found myself in you, and you in me.
Having a distance-relationship have been tough. But we have made it with success. We learned to chear each other up, and appreciate even the smallest things - like sleeping aside each other at nights, having breakfasts together - all through a camera. You have given me an enormous strenght, trust og patience. I still remember one day, I was moving into our apartment and an accident broke our new bed. I was tired, furious and sad, and you called me a couple of minutes later, just to say "Beds and houses, they are all empty things. A bed can be repared, but you can not. And I can live without a bed, but I can not live without you". That day, as on many other days, you made me feel better right away.
"Name", you are sensitive, easy to please, sometimes a bit apathetic, intensely committed, highly strung, courageous, inscrutable. You can be defensive – or resolute. You have a good sense of humour and a big and warm heart. In other words you are an absolutely fantastic, complex person.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so angry with anyone as with you.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so weak or so strong as when I’ve been together with you.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so filled with love as when I am together with you.
You bring out everything that is in me. When we communicate I feel like a whole person. Thank you for giving me this feeling.
