Akarsu ne güzel hayat dersidir;

The river is such a good lesson of life;

Küçük engellerin üzerine köpürürde,

It [river] bubbles when it flows over the small obstacles

büyüklerin yanından gecerken sus pus olur.

whereas it gets very quite while flows by the big ones [obstacles]
