Merhaba,

I want to the meaning of (aldı , olmayonca ,)

thanks

I will try as another learner -

Aldı is the past tense of the verb almak, for he/she/it

So depending on the context, it means he/she/it  bought/took/got

He bought a present = Bir hediye aldı

Due to Turkish vowel harmony I think that olmayonca  is a spelling error.

olmayınca is a combination of

ol (from olmak) + ma (negative suffix) + y (buffer letter) + ınca (when ....)

and means roughly ´when not being´

Emek olmayınca yemek olmaz = When there is no effort, there is no food

Hep ağlıyormuş ben olmayınca = she always cries when I´m not there

Hope this helps a bit. Smile

Hi Henry,

The coloring above needs a small correction:

Hep ağlıyormuş ben olmayınca = they say that she always cries when I´m not there
