Renowned Japanese photographer Masakazu Akagi has arrived in the Turkish Aegean town of Bodrum to film the underwater beauty of the Turkish seas and will take pictures underwater along the coast from Bodrum to Alanya for two weeks. Underwater model Ayano Fukuda will accompany the photographer during his visit and the 3-D photos and filming will be aired on Japanese televisions.

Speaking to the Anatolia news agency, Akagi said they were in Turkey to promote Turkey’s underwater richness. He said they had worked with the model Fukada for almost a year shooting with 3-D technology.

Akagi, 50, who serves as a private photographer for Japanese Prince Tomohito, said they previously filmed in Bodrum as well as Mediterranean Kaş and Mersin. “There are unbelievable visuals, but the Japanese people have no idea about them. Our goal is to show these beauties to them.”
