I HAVE HEARD THAT AS FROM JULY THERE WILL BE A SIMPLIFIED VISA REGIME FOR TURKS WANTING TO VISIT EUROPE. HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD OF THIS AS I CANT FIND MUCH ON IT IN ENGLISH.

Yes I saw it today. They say getting visas from EU member countries will be easy for Turkish citizens. Here are some highlights:

- The whole process should take no longer than 15 days.

- The same kind documents will be filled for application to any EU country

- If rejected, the reason for it will be clearly explained

- visa application fee will be €35
