Okay, so I have been learning a few of the suffixes at a time (the never ending suffixes). I have done some small sentences, which have included the suffixes that I am currently learning. They are just random sentences, but I was wondering if someone would be able to look at them and see if they are right or wrong for me: many thanks in advance

I have just started learning too. but just change the letters t-d, k-g, ç-c, p-b when a vowel follows

Agree! I still trip up sometimes after 14 years

şimdi evim görmelisiniz - you must see my house now

şimdi evimi görmelisiniz

Görmek always has the previous word take -ı (or -i/-u/-ü depending on vowel harmony.

The hint: look up görmek in TC dictionary on the right.

It has:

1. /ı/ to see.

the /ı/ bit means the object take -ı on its end

Şimdi onun görmem lazım - I have to see him now

 şimdi onu görmem lazım

Same reason as the previous post

This is actually short for

şimdi benim onu görmem lazım

But we can drop the benim as it still makes sense.

To say he has to see me

Onun beni görmesi lazım

or

beni görmesi lazım for short

pazartesi´de burada gelmesi lazım - He has to come here on monday

we don´t normally put the apostrophe after the days of the week.

Also gelmek always takes -a (see the dictionary again) in this context

pazarteside buraya gelmesi lazım

But it would flow better to just say

pazartesi günü buraya gelmesi lazım

sınavayı için öğretmemiz lazım - We have to study for the exam

öğretmek is to teach. çalışmak is to work/study for

Sinav doesn´t need any endings as you have added için.

Sinav için çalışmamız lazım

bankada parayı koymanız lazım - You have to put the money ın the bank

We don´t use koymak in Turkish, but yatırmak

If it is just you have to put some money in the bank:

Bankaya para yatırmamız lazım

But if it is some specific money:

Parayı bankaya yatırmamız lazım

evinde kalmaları lazım - They have to stay ın your house

This is correct, but it is one of those wonderfully unclear examples that endings can create, unless you have the context.

evinde kalmaları lazım could also mean they have to stay in his/her house

evinizde kalmaları lazım would be unambiguous, but using the formal version of you.

To remove any ambiguity, you could chose to add the personal pronoun:

senin evinde kalmaları lazım
