This are from one of the lessons here actually, on superlatives? Such as more, less, oldest, youngest, etc. Where we read and listen, then answer the questions. This first sentence confuses me because the  suffix -de is by itself after a name. And I am not sure in what context ´kadar´ is used as I had thought that was a prepositional word "until". And I am presuming for these, "bahar" is a name as well but is the word for "summer".

Ayşe de kedileri Bahar kadar seviyor mu?

another example; "Köpekleri de çok seviyorum ama kedileri daha çok seviyorum.

No one seems to be checking homework that you write and submit anymore so I came to the forums

1. ´de´ here is not a suffix but a conjunction. It means ´as well, too´. And it is written separate.

2. ´kadar´ means ´until´ but it is not the only meaning. Its meaning here is ´as much as´.

3. ´Bahar´ here is the name of a person (a female name). And it means ´spring´.

So the sentence means:

Ayşe de kedileri Bahar kadar seviyor mu?

Does Ayşe like cats as much as Bahar too?

Köpekleri de çok seviyorum ama kedileri daha çok seviyorum.

I like dogs too but I like cats more.

Thank you Faruk! I understand those now from your good explanation. I am going to try more of the Turkish practice on the forums so I can have my worked checked more.
