Could give me some insight on the correct way to read turkish addresses? (for ex. the various ways to say street - cadde, sokak etc - and the way they are shortened in the address, or how to read the "4/18" thing in the address.)

In Turkey we write addresses in this order:

First, we write the main road, then the street where the house is on, apartments´ name(if there is any, mostly there is) building number and apartment number, province, and city. Not everyone writes their zipcode, because it is not really necessary for most cases.

Here are some abbreviations:

Cd., Cad. - ... Caddesi (... Road, main road, drive)

Sok., Sk. - Sokak (Street)

Ap., Apt. - ... Apartmanı (... Apartments)

Blv. - ... Bulvarı (... Boulevard)

Here is an imaginary address for an example:

Cumhuriyet Cad. Çiçek Sok. Gül Ap. 25/4, Fatih, İstanbul.

What we have here, our main street is Cumhuriyet Caddesi, and the street where the building is located is Çiçek Sokak. The building has a name which is Gül Apartmanı. The building number is 25 and the apartment number is 4. It is in Fatih which is a province in Istanbul.

The street is connected to the main road. Not all addresses have the same situation, because the building could be on the main road, or the street could be alone. In some addresses you may see the name of the building complex, office block or industrial zone too.

I have another question. How do you read the "25/4" part? would it be "yirmi-bese dort"? or something like that?

Some people read it as you said, and it is also "no yirmi beş, daire dört"

 Can also be written No 25 D 4

Also, they sometimes write K2 this means Kat 2 = 2nd floor. In Turkey we count the floors like we do in the UK, not like the US. So there is ground (zemin) then first then second. So Kat 2 equals 3rd floor in US English!
