just started learning turkish but have not been able to find translation in any books or on cd rom for the following basic
sentences

I am learning turkish

I can speak a little turkish

I can only speak a little turkish

If you are wishing to get past someone in a supermarket , shop etc do you say pardon.

ENG: I am learning turkish
TR: Türkçe öğreniyorum.

ENG: I can speak a little turkish
TR: çok az Türkçe konuşabiliyorum.

ENG: I can only speak a little turkish
TR: Sadece çok az Türkçe konuşabiliyorum.

It is the preferred way to say sth if you wish to get passed someone. You can use pardon, but this is not Turkish. Instead you can say, "afedersiniz" meaning that "excuse me" or "izin verir misiniz?" meaning "could you let me...". Nevertheless, you can rarely see some people getting past sb without saying sth but this not a gentle way.
