Hello,

can anyone help me translate this poem into Turkish please.

I will put a seperate post for each verse.

Many thanks in advance for anyone who has the time to help.

Best Regards,

Carl

Just forty weeks since we first met
What changes that did bring!
In this short time you have become
My love, my life, my everything.

My version:

Kırk hafta sadece oldu tanışalı
Hayatımda değişmedik şey kalmadı
Bu kısa zamanda sen oldun benim
Aşkım, hayatım ve herşeyim

hi i have misunderstood something in this translation,
just 40 weeks since we first met=ilk bulusmamizdan tam(just?)kirk hafta gecti?
what changes did that bring=ne degisiklikler getirdi
in this short time you have become=bu kadar kisa zamanda sen oldun(because olmak is not only 'being' i have read it as 'become'also)
my love,my life,my everything=askim,hayatim,herseyim
in erdinc's version i can't understand why there is not a suffix explaining the 'we'(iz,ik)part of the first line?please can you explain this erdinc?and how do we know that this poem is about the author?as in the example'hayatimda'i'm lost :-S
many thanks
ade
