 there is a play on words here, so that would be ;

We used to love eachother in such a unique way, therefore we couldnt love someone else.

"başka" in this case is " in different way, in such a unique way, very different from others "

so these people had a special love for one another , and after they split up or left one another they couldnt love other [baska] .

so in the second sentence "baska" means " other " [someone else]

Talk about a play on words...At first I could not think of any examples in English but then I remembered that a friend told me about this one..

"Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo."

This is actually a grammatically correct sentence in the English language. It uses 3 different meanings of the word Buffalo, one is noun adjunct, one is a noun, and one is a verb. Of course its not a true fact sentence, it only give examples of different meanings of Buffalo. İf you wonder what it means, reworded it is;

"bison from Buffalo intimidate (other) bison from Buffalo that bison from Buffalo intimidate."
