Bir halı satın aldım, mavi değil. (I bought a carpet, it is not blue)

Mavi bir halı değil perde satın aldım. (but the blue curtains)

Mavi bir şey satın aldım, halı değil. (I bought something blue, it is not carpet.)

Yet another way using "olmayan" instead of "değil":

Bir halı satın aldım, mavi değil. (I bought a carpet, it is not blue)

Mavi olmayan bir halı satın aldım. (I bought a carpet, which is not blue)

Mavi bir şey satın aldım, halı değil. (I bought something blue, it is not carpet.)

Halı olmayan mavi bir şey satın aldım. (I bought something blue, which is not carpet.)
