Give these to someone else. I clearly meant nothing to you, so these things mean nothing to me. You never put any thought into any gift you gave me. You never bothered to know me, so how could you? I left a few things in America. I will send them when I am home. Perhaps  your girl of the week will feel very special if you give her some small thing and then she will buy even more carpets from you. Nothing would make you happier, I am sure. I certainly didn´t.

Ben kesinlikle edemedim.

There is "happier" in the original text - shouldn´t it be "daha mutlu" instead of just "mutlu" ?

You are right Tomac, "daha mutlu" would be better and more correct way of the translation. Aferin sana. !
