Hi everyone!

This is my 2nd post here in this forum. Very glad to know people here who has such great interest like I do.

Just wonder if anyone knows. Recently I took turkish airline to Istanbul. Upon arrival, when the plane touch down, before the passengers leave the plane. The plane actually played a song. No singing, pure music. (sounds alittle traditional) I really like that piece of music.

I dont know why, but when I touch down and heard this piece of music, I felt very touched and my eyes became teary.

Have any of you heard it before when you are on turkish airline?

Was it the instrumental version of the song, "memleketim" (my homeland):

I couldn't find any proper instrumental version available on the internet. There are only some cheap midi versions not worth listening or mentioning.
Ayten Alpman is the female voice you hear in that record and I think she is the person who sang this song the best so far.
