my attempt as a learner

Quote:

yıyenımi çok özledim

I guess this should be

yeğenimi çok özledim

I really missed my nephew/niece

my learner´s guess is that the words should be as follows

(no punctuation makes it hard to be accurate)

özledim, özleyemez miyim yoksa yeğenim oluyor
I missed, or (how) could I not miss my nephew/niece, (it?) is happening. (it happens)
Hopefully it will make sense to you. {#emotions_dlg.confused}

Quoting Henry

birşey olmadı = something didn´t happen

 i.e. "nothing happened" -  the usual meaning of "birşey olmadı".
