Quoting Kadir37:

Yarın, Perşembe ve Cuma günü para kazanmak için çalışmak zorundayım.

I assume zorundayım is short for zorunda kalmak - to be left with no choice.

Why is using mastar hali preferable to using the -meli- suffix???

I think (if I understand your sentence correctly) that lazım would be better than zorundayım because I do have a choice.....

have to= zorunda olmak!
I have to go! Gitmek zorundayım!

not much deffer i think.
by the way, "zorundayım" seems that the obligatory comes from an authority like state or a business or your boss etc.

In that case -meli- is probably a better choice......
I am my own boss so nobody is forcing me to work tommorrow!

I nearly said something like:
yarın çalışmak istiyorum
But I wanted to practice using the verbal noun suffix

Quoting Kadir37:

I prefer to say "Bu yüzden üç gün Türkçe çalışamayacağım."

Ah yes - I forgot that -abıl- takes a different form when used with the future tense

What does yüzden mean here?
