Which present tense?

If someone is standing near me holding a photograph and I wanted to ask them "Can I see?"......which would I use?

Görebilir miyim?
Görebiliyor muyum?

Or something completely different......

The second means "Am I able to see?"

baka bilir miyim?

bakabilir miyim is definetely better here bod because this tense (ie: -bilir-) is almost asking permission to look.
it can also be translate to "could i look"


if you said, bakabiliyor muyum, it is like kind of questioning whether you are actually capable of looking.. inşallah you know what i mean
