Can someone translate this beautiful song for me?

Nil Karaibrahimgil - Havuz Problemi

Bu aşk havuz problemi
Yeni fark ediyorum
Yazmıştım denklemini
Girdim yüzemiyorum
Zamanın kızları balıklama
Atlama diyemiyorum
Ayakları çırptık onlar
Sanki boğuluyorum
Gel suyu boşalta
Yeniden dolduralım
Çöz beni içinde
Havuz probleminin
Bir musluk kapansa öbürü açılır
Kızlar havuz kenarında açılır saçılır
Atlamak yasak ama önüne geçemiyorum
Bir huzur içinde ben neden yüzemiyorum
Sen ortada gel derken
Sana yüzemiyorum
Sanki dibe vurdum
Nefes alamıyorum

Thanks!

My Try:

Pool problem

I am realizing again
this love is a pool problem.
I had written my equation.
I entered, I can’t swim.
I can’t tell the girls of this time:
don’t dive in headfirst, don’t jump.
When they whisk their legs
it´s as if I’m drowning.
Come, let´s empty the water,
let’s fill it again.
Solve me inside
the pool problem.
If one tap is closed another one opens.
Girls in the edge ready, scattered.
It is forbidden to jump but I cannot make them stop.

Why can’t I swim in peace of mind?

Saying: you come in the middle
I can’t swim into you,
as if I fall into the depth
and can’t breathe.

Thanks a lot! Very beautlful!

Still not too sure what it´s supposed to be about, with all the symbolism though

It seems to me like a man is in trouble with too anxious admirers...

Don´t trust the translation too much though, I´m just a learner. Maybe one of the natives will still turn it around.

My guess is this is a woman singing about her guy being chased by others?

Yes, and these others have no manners. They just jump into the pool which is ment for two. You may be right.

Yes, jamiemadrox, after listening to the song I see the text with different eyes. I should have done it in the beginning. Sure it is about jealousy and not feeling good enough for happiness. It´s very touching words actually. No matter how tight you close the taps, one of them is always open. I think this is how uncertain people often feel.

I have to thank you for introducing this. I first noticed the symbolics which is not the most usual one (I´m tired of the sea and birds and ships and flowers and stuff). I´m glad I did.
