Does this mathematic equation makes sense to you?

Hold on, I am trying to make sense of the current situation.

Is there an equal expression of this in Turkish? I realize that the usual response in Turkish might just be anlamak, or its varous tense markers, in that one would just state anlıyorum/anlamıyorum.

But can you express the general statement, where applicable, that something "indeed makes sense", or "doesn´t seem to make sense", etc? Are there different ways to use it, depending on mood, and context?

Just seems like in the year and half Ive been studying, Ive never come across it, nor had I thought about it actually, until now.

make sense = anlamlı gelmek/olmak

make sense of something = birşeyden anlam çıkarmak

not make sense = anlamlı gelmemek/olmamak; anlamsız olmak
