Hello!

Could you help me to translate this one?

I particularly struggle with the part "6 ile 10 derece":

Does it mean "10 degrees with 6" or "to 6 provinces 10 degrees" or maybe anything else?

Anyway, my attempt for the full translation is:"According to the warning given by the Directorate of the Analysis and Forecasting branch, from (this) weekend there may occur sudden water incursion and flood hazard, as a consequence of the temperatures that will rise 10 degress to(?) 6 provinces."

I would also like to ask if it would be correct and the same sense to say:

Or perhaps is it neccessary to use both -ecek and olma + poss.?

You mean you solved all the tricks in that complicated sentence and got stuck with 6 ile 10 derece...I think it means simply ´6 to 10 degrees´. But I see it both with ile and ila, I wonder why.

as a consequence of the temperatures that will rise....

I might change the translation a little bit: "as a result of a temperature rise of 6 to 10 degrees". I think there is a slight difference.

And no, I don´t think you can change a verbal noun into a participle without damaging the sentence. Infinitives and participles are hardly ever interchangeable. But as always, I may be wrong.

Thanks for the reply

I also thought of translating it as "6 to 10", because it would be logical. However, I´ve never heard that "ile" may be translated as "to"...
