I think it can be like this.

Today : Bugün

Tomorrow : Yarın

The day after tomorrow = Öbür gün

Öbür gün daha iyi olacak.

"day after tomorrow" = ERTESİ gün

sunday = pazar

monday = pazartesi (on used)

actualy correct, pazar ERTESİ

-yarın mı gideceksin? / will you go tomorrow?
-hayır. ertesi gün. / no. day after tomorrow.

"öbür" diğer anlamınada gelir. geçmişe yönelik ´öbür´ çalışmaz.
"-çarşamba günü mü?
-hayır öbür gün.
-salı?
-hayır ertesi gün.
-yani perşembe."
ertesi gün, yıl içindeki herhangi bir günden sonraki gün. yani, day after tomorrow.
kelime karşılığı değil elbette. kalıp karşılığı..

I thought ertesi gün means the day after any day specified in the context (it can be before the speech moment even) and öbür gün is the day after tomorrow only. The former is wider in meaning, eh?

Exactly right. I am sure that. "Öbürgün" means the day after tomorrow.

ertesi gün can be any day after a reference date, usually in the future.
