NELER is the plural form of NE.

To someone you think is capable of doing more than one thing simultaneously, you´d ask "Neler yapıyorsun?". The reply will be something like " I am chewing a gum and watching TV".

If you think he can only do one thing at a time, the question " Ne yapıyorsun ?" is sufficient. The reply will be something like "I am chewing a gum ! "

Clear?
