My brother noticed alcohol is not for him.

I can’t do anything about it.

He found himself talking to a stranger guy.

My brother noticed alcohol is not for him.

Kardeşim alkolün kendine uygun olmadığını farketti.

I can’t do anything about it.

Bu konuda birşey yapamam / Elimden birşey gelmez.

He found himself talking to a stranger guy.

Kendisini bir yabancıyla konuşur gibi hissetti.

Recently I have learned that "We can´t do anything about it" is ne yapalım (napalım for short), so maybe here it will be the same: ne yapayım?

Sorry, cross-posted with ikicihan

Thank you, ikicihan, sufler. The translation of the third sentence was a surprise for me.

For me to, Abla

I´d rather expect something with "bulmak" or "bulunmak".

This is not a literal translation. If i translate it literally, it doesnt makes much sense. If you "find yourself..." in turkish you must be unconscious or careless.

Kendisini bir yabancıyla konuşurken buldu.

Farketti ki bir yabancıyla konuşuyor.

Bir de baktı ki konuştuğu bir yabancı.
