Some Conjunctions that are in Repetition form ;

 

Hem ......  hem  [de]  ---->  both ..... and

 

Kanadalılar  hem İngilizce hem [de] Fransızca konuşuyorlar.

Canadians speak both English and French.

 

Hem Ali hem [de] Ayşe bugün derse geldiler.

Both Ali and Ayşe came to class today.

Ne....... ne [de ] ---> Neither......nor

 

Ne ben ne [de] o İzmir´e gitti.

Neither me nor her went to İzmir.

 

Onlar ne İngilizce ne [de] Türkçe biliyor[lar].

They know neither English nor Turkish.

Ya....... ya [da] ----> Either.......or

 

Ya  git  ya [da] kal

Either go or stay.

 

O her gün kahvaltıdan önce ya yürüyüş yapar ya [da] koşar.

He either walks or runs before breakfast every morning.

Ama ....... ama --->  or  *  whether.... or


Ama çok ama az herkes biraz Türkçe konuşabilmeli.

Little or much everybody should be able to speak some Turkish.

 

Ama bu dünyada ama öbür dünyada cezasını çekecek.

Whether in this life or  in other life he will get his punishment.

kah ..... kah ---->  sometimes ........ at other times 

 

Bu  köyde kah elektriklerimiz kesilir kah sularımız.

In this village we have sometimes electrics cut off, at other times water .

 

Kah konuşur kah susar.

He/she sometimes speaks, at other times  he/she remains silent.

Gerek .... gerek [se] ---> both .....and  [ this form is used likely for negative statements]

 

Gerek ben gerek [se] sen burada kalamayız.

Both you and  me can not stay here.

 

Gerek burada gerek[se] orada hiç yağmur yağmaz.

It never rains both in here and there.

Olsun ........olsun  --->  both ...and  -  whether .....or

 

Çince olsun Japonca olsun zor diller.

Both Chinese and Japanese are difficult languages.

 

Eski olsun yeni olsun orası beni ilgilendirmez.

I don´t care whether it´s old or new.

İster .......ister [se] ----->  whether ..... or

 

İster gel ister gelme toplantı olacak.

The meeting will be held whether you come or not.

 

İster çalış ister[sen] çalışma , karar senin.

It is your choice whether [if] you work or not.
