Hello all,
After a very long time away from T.C. I was sent a message asking me how I am? after a few exchanges, I get the message ´I do not like English people´ okay not everyone has to like everyone but what is the point of messaging me in the first place to tell me this? For anyone who knows me, I have a lovely Turkish wife and family and everybody Turkish connected with the family likes me, and I have many Turkish friends in Turkey and in England so I am sorry to say that not everybody has the same view about ´English people´ I really thought T.C. was a place for us foreigners? (English people)

It is a place for foreigners...even Americans - which most people are very happy to share that they don´t like! But who cares, Rich? Your friends know you and we all like you. Don´t let one bad attitude (or even several) cloud your membership at TC. We value your stories and experiences and have learned a great deal from what you share!

If this person does not like English people, why are they contacting English member?

This person, whomever (s)he is, is unnecessarily rude and taking out their anger, frustration or disappointment on the wrong people. Unfortunately, as one of my Aussie friends had told me before, "Turkish people are incredible and very generous people, but there are rotten eggs in every bucket."
Take that person as one of those rotten eggs, or simply a misguided soul, which shouldn´t affect your general perspective of Turkish people and Turkey. These things happen.
