Can anyone tranlate the following saying please:

´Temel´e sormuşlar;

Sevgi´mi daha güzeldir sevda´mı diye

Temel cevaplamış;

Ikisida lazim değil baa benum fadimem var´

I´ve tried to do it myself but it didn´t make sense at all

Apparently Temel jokes have their origin around the Black Sea region of Turkey, and this region also has slight differences in language and pronunciation.

As a learner I also think there is a difference between

sevgi = affectionate love, affection

sevda = passionate love, passion

Which is better [more beautiful] ? Sevgi  or Sevda ?

Temel answered, saying ;

I don´t need either [one], my Fadime [his wife] is sufficient for me.

In this joke there is play on words ;

1,Sevgi   and  Sevda  as abstract nouns means =  Love, affection [sevgi] and  Passionate Love [Sevda]

2. As in opposite meaning to abstract, they are used as "Female names" in Turkish.

As the joke used the "naiveness " of Temel ,  Temel understood the question as in second meaning ["Female names"] while people asked his opinon about  Love [sevgi] and  Passionate Love [sevda]. That´s why Temel said I dont need neither of women, my woman [fadime] is enough for me.

Note : This joke is written in Blacksea accent.

One day An Englishman,a Frenchman and Temel did on a bet. The bet was ; who was gonna ask the most difficult question to the computer. The Englishman goes first and asks his question. Computer answers his question in 10 seconds. Secondly Frenchman asks his question and this time computer answers in 20 seconds. And finally it was our Temel´s turn. After Temel asks his question 10 seconds,20 seconds ,50 seconds...and suddenly the computer started to flaring up.[burning] They asked Temel "What was your question that caused the computer burned ?" Temel replied " Nothing !.. I just said "Whats up ? "

   Temel yeryüzündeki en komik karakter..Her fıkrasında ince mizah ve ders var.

Temel is much smarter then some of our friends here. I dont think he mistook the two words for other ladies´ names in his alleged naivity.

What Temel meant was "hoots for any kind of platonic love,  I care for neither; I will prefer real sex anytime".

Not many understood him, obviously.....
