Forming nouns in Turkish langauge

Hello

How can I form a noun froma verb in Turkish?

is there something like adding (ing) in English?

or only removing (k) from (mak/mek) like

okumak/okuma

yazmak/yazma

thanks for you help.

1.-me, -mek, -iş  using these suffixes you can create noun verbs.

2. -an, -ası, -mez, -ar, -dik, -ecek, -miş  using these suffixes you can create adjective verbs and you can use them as nouns.

In other words, both -mAk and -mA are nouns. They just have different uses.

This page seems to have many suffixes (can be listed as suffixes, functions, formulas) with examples (There may be some inaccuricies though).
