May I ask two things?
1. "doing alterations" (?) meaning...changes, like house changes, fixing things, etc?
2. what form of the verb is yapıyon ??

If you fix, repair everything needed including painting, carpentry, electrical... etc, you are doing "tadilat" (first "a" is pronounced long cus of arabic origin, tâdilat is better). To cut a long story short, the answer to this question is called tadilat: "what does handyman do?"
