ok to make it clear Birlikte-y-ken means when we are together? i can´t see anything referring to "we / us".... so how could i say when they are together?

Good point. I know it with my exprience of speaking Turkish all my life If you want to say when they are together:
1)onlar birlikteyken
2)onlar birliktelerken
3)birliktelerken
You can say any one of these.

More detailed explanation:
You see the predicate is yapıyor-sun. It has this personal ending "-sun" for the second person singular. So it means it is "you" who does the action. So you is the subject. Now lets find the object. It is ben-i. It is definite object because it ends with -i. So object is me. Now birlikteyken means "when together" There is no reference to any person. But I know that subject is you and object is me. So you + me = we. Now I know that only reasonable explanation is "birlikteyken" adresses "we".
