from the song: KÖPEKLER GİBİ
by: GECE YOLCULARI

i have taken the line: GÃœNLERİM GEÇMEZ OLDU

and i would like to know why it is GEÇMEZ here... i thought it would have been used with the -miş thang??

öyle değil mi arkadaşlar?? :S

geçmiş- would have meant "passed"

"Günlerim geçmez oldu" is a literary usage. It means the same as "Artık günlerim geçmiyor."

Think of it as "Günlerim geçmez hale geldi" which means (mot-a-mot)"My days have become to such a situation that they don't pass anymore." (ouch!) But of course, such a long sentence is not necessary

Shortly, it means "My days don't (won't) pass anymore."
