How would you communicate with eachother if this forum didn´t exist? If your boy friend wrote this, good news he tells you how he loves you with poetic words.

This is a breath that comes with you. It is like opening my eyes to another life. It is like I had been born, I  had lived somewhere, I had died and now I existed with you in a different planet that nobody has never known. Oh how difficult to fit my love for you into an incapable silence like words. The words that express emotions are so insufficient, as the poet said "they are scant". All the words are weak and incomplete it doesn´ matter which language they belong when it comes to express my love for you. My hand, my tongue, my heart, all of them beat with the same thing.... With your love they find life again and again. Maybe it will not be enough to say I love you but these are the only valuable words that I have. I love you like my breath like my fate.

Note: I hope this is the happy ending

Can someone correct my grammar mistakes? I made a few I guess. Thanks.

Ahhh Gokuyum, you were fooled into thinking this was from Britturk´s missing lover.

But so you get something from the valuable time you spent translating, I will give you my small corrections to your worthy efforts

Thank you Henry for your corrections. I have a question. I used past tense in the sentence:

(It is like/as if) now I existed with you on a different planet.

I used past tense because I thought when you talk about an unreal situation, you make the verb past.

So I wonder why it is wrong?

Thank you again and have a nice day.

Good question {#emotions_dlg.think}. For me, the problem word is now.

It´s as if I existed with you on another planet. (using past tense here is fine)

If the now was separated from the I existed, it´s possible to use them both, if you are careful about the wording.

But now, it´s as if (it feels like) I had existed with you on another planet.

This example sentence suggests your past life (when you lived with this girl) is very distant (far away) from the life you have now (probably because you are single again).

You don´t always need past tense for unreal situations.

eg. I feel like we live on different planets.

It is like I had been born, I had lived somewhere, I had died and now I exist with you on a different planet that nobody has ever known.

Past Present
