Uzun İnce Bir Yoldayım: My I Am On A Long and Narrow Road (?)

Here is the version I know:

I love it!

Gokuyum, I see now where I made my mistake! I have been reviewing my Turkish lessons today and see that if I had thought about this a bit harder, I would have gotten it.

Uzun İnce Bir Yoldayım

long narrow a road on I am

I am on a long and narrow road

I sometimes have trouble realizing that "da" or some other suffix is actually a suffix and not a basic part of a word. I had even tried to look up "yolda." Although perhaps that should have tipped me off: "en route."

I must start reading more in Turkish! {#emotions_dlg.yes}

Quoting alameda

I began to walk at the same time

In a mansion with two doors

That is a great symbol of world. A mansion with two doors. One door is birth. When you are born, you enter the mansion(world). Second door is death. When you die you go out of this mansion. All you do is walking non-stop when you enter this mansion to reach the second door. Why? Because we don´t belong to this mansion. This is not our home. Our soul wants to leave this mansion as soon as possible and to go to his home.
