thank you!

the lack of punctuation may cause errors in my attempt at translating Smile

Neler yapıyorsun artık hiç sormuyorsun

You never ask what are you doing anymore.

korkma senden

Don´t be afraid of me,

bir şey istemeyeceğim nerede olsa ben senin görüştüğünde onlardan biriyim.

I´m one of those that if there, when we meet/see each other, I´ll not want anything

Bankadan kredi çektim annemin evini tamir yaptım

I took a loan from the bank and repaired my mother´s house.

Bugün Uludağ´a gideceğim.

Today I´ll go to Uludağ.

çalışmağa azar azar öderim

I will try to pay little by little

OR maybe he meant  Bugün Uludağ´a çalışmaya gideceğim.

Today I´ll go to Uludağ to work. (I´ll pay (back) a little at a time.)

ama biraz üzüldüm çünkü hiç dostum yokmuş

but I´m a little sad because I never have close friends.

bir an kendimi çok yalnız hissettim

for a moment I felt very lonely

bu kadar açık bir insan olarak yaşadım

I lived as a person that was very open/frank

kimseyi kırmamak için bazen kapalı kalmayı tercih etmek dışında

For anyone not to break, sometimes they prefer to stay covered/inside to being outside

The Turkish sentence structure used seems weird to me, but I´m only a learner. Is your friend Turkish, or has he modified his Turkish for you?

Thank you for taking the time to translate.

Yes, he is Turkish and I don´t think he modified his Turkish for me. He just never uses punctuation...

Is the meaning of the last phrase that he chooses not to invest his feelings out of fear of being hurt?

It is hard for me to interpret the last sentence. The use of dışında at the end I can´t translate well. The structure is strange for me, the last sentence seems incomplete.

In order not to hurt anyone, aside from sometimes to prefer (preferring) to remain trapped.

maybe ..... I lived as a person who was very open, in order not to hurt anyone, aside from when sometimes I preferred to keep things to myself

Kimseyi kırmamak için kapalı kalmayı tercih ettiğim zamanlar dışında, bugüne kadar hep açık bir insan olarak yaşadım.

I have always been living as an open person except of those times that i preffered to stay covered ( a person who is not open to the other people) in order not to break anyone´s heart.

Wow , it was really hard to transform it  into a proper Turkish sentence and it was also hard to translate. And i agree that it is not a  perfect translation.
