1) From Emile, or On Education

Her şey, Yaratıcı’nın elinden çıktığında iyidir; insanoğlunun elinde bozulur.

Everything is beautiful in the hands of Creator, it gets corrupted in the hands of human.

2) From Emile, or On Education

Uygar insan kölelik içinde doğar, yaşar ve ölür.

Civilised man is born, lives and dies in slavery.

3) From The Praise of Folly

İnsan ırkı, varlığını vücudunun tuhaf ve gülünç olan organlarına borçludur. Onların isimlerini bile yüzünüzde gülümseme eksik olmadan anamazsınız.

Humans owe their existance to their weird and funny organs. We can´t even mention their names without a smile on our face.

Note. Lol. This is really true.

4) From The Praise of Folly

Elinizi vicdanınıza koyun. Hangi erkek, gerçek bir bilge gibi hareket edip ilk iş olarak evliliğin sakıncalarını önceden gözden geçirebilseydi, boynuna o yuların takılmasına izin verirdi?

Please be fair. Which man would let that halter be put on his neck if he behaved like a wise man and if he exemined the inconveniences of marriage?

Erasmus is our spokesman.

5)From The Praise of Folly

Kadınların akılsız ve aptal yaratıklar olduğu doğrudur. Yine de eğlendirirler ve mutluluk verirler. Erkekler yaşamlarını kadınlarla paylaşsın. Kadınlar delilikleriyle onların sert mizaçlarını değiştirip yumuşatacaktır.

It is true that women are stupid creatures. But they entertain you and give you joy. Let men share their lives with women. Women will soften their firm characters with their madnesses.

I don´t agree with this. I shared it to annoy women

6)From Kafka´s Aphorisms:

Kötü´nün elindeki en ayartıcı silah, savaşa çağrıdır. Kadınlarla yapılan savaşa benzer, ki sonu

yatakta biter.

The most tempting weapon in the hands of evil is calling to arms. This is similar to a fight with women, and it always ends in bed.

7)From Kafka´s Aphorisms:

Kötü´nün ondan bir şeyler gizleyebileceğinize inanmanızı sağlamasına izin vermeyin.

Don´t let evil make you believe that you can hide something from it.
