I don´t get it,what is la ?

A friend put pictures up of their new villa that is very rustic and half built.  Another friend put the commment "La bitmedi mi daha?" below it.  I thought it meant when is it finished?

Maybe la was villa then.

that ´la´ over there is short version of "lan" which means something like "boy" "dude" etc.

la la la ...la laa la laaaaaaaaa......la la la la
