hello i would like to know what is the difference between "degil" and "degildir", when do i know when i should use degildir? for example "araba siyah degil" the car is not black....why is it degil and not degildir? thnx.

There is some information in this thread. As a rule, you cannot make a very big mistake by adding or not adding -DIr. My advice for you is to look around, pay attention to its uses and then try to imitate them.
