(sorry accents don´t work )

.... "Nicin insan var ? "

"Nicin Dunya var?" dedim

O sirada Lya, "Cocuklar asagi bakin! " diye bagirdi. Baktik.

Gezegeni gorduk. Cok guzeldi.

Pembe renkli genisleyen bir kusak gibiydi.

"Benim atalarim uzaydan geldi.

Siz kendi kendini yok eden bir irktan geliyorsunuz.

Dunya´niz cok kirli.

Savaslari durdurmuyorsunuz. Uzaylilar cocuklari cok seviyor.

Savaslarin olmadigi bir Dunya´da yasamanizi istiyorum.

Simdi sizi baris icinde yasanan gezegenimize goturuyoruz.

Guzellikleri gormenizi istiyorum.

Dunya´dakilere gordugunuz guzellikleri anlatmalisiniz. "

(sorry accents don´t work )

.... "Nicin insan var ? "

.... " Why do human exist ? "

"Nicin Dunya var?" dedim

Why the world exists ? I asked myself.

O sirada Lya, "Cocuklar asagi bakin! " diye bagirdi. Baktik.

At that moment, Lya shouted " Look down here kids! ", and we looked down there.

Gezegeni gorduk. Cok guzeldi.

We saw the planet. It was so beautiful.

Pembe renkli genisleyen bir kusak gibiydi.

It was just like an expanding pink waistband.

"Benim atalarim uzaydan geldi.

"My ancestors came from the space.

Siz kendi kendini yok eden bir irktan geliyorsunuz.

but you are coming from a race who destroyes itself.

Dunyaniz cok kirli.

Your world is very dirty.

Savaslari durdurmuyorsunuz. Uzaylilar cocuklari cok seviyor.

You don´t cease fighting. Aliens love kids so much.

Savaslarin olmadigi bir Dunyada yasamanizi istiyorum.

I want you to live in a world wherein there is no war.

Simdi sizi baris icinde yasanan gezegenimize goturuyoruz.

Now we are taking you to our planet where we live in peace.

Guzellikleri gormenizi istiyorum.

I want you to see the beauties in it.

Dunyadakilere gordugunuz guzellikleri anlatmalisiniz. "

You should tell the people in the world about the beauties you will see.

Thanks cemsah for a very good translation.

Please could you break the Turkish down a bit for me in the sentance below. I don´t quite follow the translation. Thanks

Siz kendi kendini yok eden bir irktan geliyorsunuz.

but you are coming from a race who destroyes itself.

I thought below might translate better as "I don´t want you to live in a world where there is war. (means the same, but I am picking up the negative of live in the Turkish? ..... I´m probably wrong! )

Savaslarin olmadigi bir Dunyada yasamanizi istiyorum.

I want you to live in a world wherein there is no war.

Quote: Donkeyoaty

Savaslarin olmadigi bir Dunyada yasamanizi istiyorum.

This is negative and this is infinitive marking.

It is like I want [your living in a world (where there are no wars)].

Please could you break the Turkish down a bit for me in the sentence below. I don´t quite follow the translation. Thanks

Siz kendi kendini yok eden bir ırktan geliyorsunuz.

You come from a race which destroys itself.

In case you haven´t received a breakdown of this part

(Siz) geliyorsunuz. = You are coming, You come.

Where do you come from?

Bir ırk = one race, a race

Bir ırktan geliyorsunuz = You come from a race.

Yok etmek = to destroy, to consume

yok eden = one who destroys, which destroys

en/an  this suffix is used in relative clauses. It can convert verb stems into adjectival clauses for the subject of a sentence (by giving a description of what the subject which follows is doing), and can also be used without a specified subject.

yok eden bir ırk = a race which destroys

(Türkçe öğrenen bir adam = a man who learns Turkish

Türkçe öğrenenler = the people who study Turkish)

yok eden bir ırktan geliyorsunuz = you came from a race which destroys

Now for the last part, the reflexive pronoun kendi (self)

kendi = himself/herself/itself

Kendi kendini yok eden bir irk = a race which destroys itself

I believe this duplicated form of kendi kendi- is used for emphasis here.
