I would like this to be translated in turkish please

I don´t care how poor a man is; if he has family, he´s rich=Bir adamın ne kadar fakir olduğuna bakmam; eğer ailesi varsa zengindir. (directly : I don´t look at the fact how much poor a man is; if he has family, he´s rich. )

/ Bir adamın ne kadar fakir olduğu umrumda değil; eğer ailesi varsa zengindir. (directly: It is not in my affair that how much poor a man is; if he has family, he is rich)

/ Bir adamın ne kadar fakir olduğu benim için önemli değil; eğer ailesi varsa zengindir. (directly: It is not important for me that how much poor a man is; if he has family, he´s rich)

"-dir" has been used here in the task of generalization.

ne kadar=how much

umur=affair

yoksul=fakir : "yoksul" bases on "yok (there isn´t/aren´t)" and it is Turkish but "fakir" has come from Arabic. Both of these words are exactly same.

You answer is so prompt I take the chance and ask you why you use participle here. If there was an infinitive olması(na) (which I imagine is mostly used for envisaged/imagined situations) in the same position how would it look in those sentences?

you could say:

Bir adamın fakir olması benim için önemli değil.

but if you want to use "ne kadar", it should be as in the reponse. I cannot give any further grammatical explanation for the moment. I should check it before.

A sharp remark. Maybe the key is there. I will try to look for more examples about cases where the difference seems really small.

It is not a topic to tell surfacely but I have to explain surfacely now. 

There is a suffix called "-dik" in Turkish. This is not "di (simple past) + k (2nd type personal suffix of 1st plural)". This is different. And it is difficult for you (Europeans) because this pattern isn´t being done by suffix in most of your languages. We can translate as "the fact that".

olmak=1to be, 2to happen, 3to become, 4to suit, 5to be agreed, 6..... 7....

if we remove the infinitive suffix, we find the root of the verb. (-mek/-mak)

ol+dik+i(possessive of 3rd person)--> olduğu = the fact he is

ol+dik+i(possessive of 3rd person)+e(dative)-->olduğuna = to the fact he is

this isn´t a sufficient explanation but i will write this as lesson after i finish writing the beginner level lesson.
