Get out your miniskirts and your go-go boots! It´s time to dance to the Western stylings of Mr. Barış Manço!

I dare you to stand still.

Get out your fringed jacket then! And your peace necklace! And your watch with the wide wristband! ... Must we explain everything to the men?!

You have no clues about Turkish men. do you?

Those jackets are for lightweight western boys, not for Turkish men. No Turkish men will wear peace necklaces because they are for softies!!

Why do you make an argument out of a good-natured invitation to dance to wonderful music? The invitation was for everyone. And the reference to miniskirts and go-go boots was simply meant to evoke an era.

By your standards, I guess Barış was a softie? He wore rings, necklaces, all the hallmarks of the mod 1960s and ´70s. And yet he was very manly, very attractive.

I hope there are Turkish men who know the difference between being manly and being a bully. Men who are not threatened by a peace symbol.

As we say in the States: Peace out, brother.

Turkish men are such human beings that are worth to be written Research Theses about them.

Some general characteristics of us

Not all of us have moustache.,

Not all of us have dark eyes.

Nearly half of us read daily newspapers and we start reading it preferably from sports pages.

We throw angry look at other men if they look at our women. And if they say anything about our wife or daughter, it probably ends with a fight.

We prefer watching each other in subways instead of reading.

We like standing and watching road works for hours .

We are  jealous about our women.

We like buying the latest version of  cell phones , no matter how much it costs.

You can see quite few Turkish men having a picnic with their family , having barbecue in the parks with white sleeveless flannels on.

We like making comments on almost everything, whether we have know or not.

ama özümüzde iyi çocuklarızdır. Cool

Welcome to the Internet. It´s good that we´re not on a Youtube comment section, where the most violent and pointless Internet arguments seem to be.

A good natured invitation?

Then call a good natured person a bully?

Yeah yeah!! Talk to the hand my friend!!

We are not threatened by the softie things easily!! We are not Amerikans you know.

Once more:

We dont wear neckleces, we dont wear lightweight fringed jackets. And we are not softies. OK? {#emotions_dlg.you_crazy}
