In October he/she took .....

arkadaşların + ın   fotoğrafı = the photograph of your friends

arkadaşları + nın   fotoğrafı = the photograph of his/her friends

without a senin/onun you can only guess which is correct

arkadaşların + ın fotoğrafları = the photographs of your friends

arkadaşları + nın fotoğrafları = the photographs of his/her friends
