Quoting Yarvik364

The female voice on one of my course material´s recordings almost pronounces otobüsten as otobüstân. Is that typical for a specific region in Turkey?

İstasyona vardığımda, otobüsten indim.

We should hear it before commenting but it may sound to your ear as -tan. The -e is not pronounced very openly, so it sounds between -e and -a.

I notice it with foreign people when I tell them my name Meltem, they think that I say Maltam.
